  • Led by its our staff strive to create opportunities for collaborative and interdisciplinary work for researchers at every stage of their careers, by supporting the development of emerging research projects, building a context for creative scholarly discussions, and helping with every stage in the process of winning and running successful research bids.
  • Together, they help to foster a deeper understanding of what it means to be human and the forces that shape us, both as individuals and within communities, and to enrich the engagement and impact of academic work in the local, regional and global contexts in which it occurs. school members are teacher-scholars who strive to produce relevant and groundbreaking research and to provide students with the finest liberal arts education in the region.

Human sciences are typically interdisciplinary fields and represent a combination of sciences and disciplines related to human activities, and are widely regarded to accommodate both humanities and social sciences. Humanities are understood as a branch of knowledge that deals with heritage and the question of what makes us human. Social sciences, on the other hand, are concerned with the study of the social life of human groups and individuals. Social sciences consist of the scientific study of the human aspects of the world. They are an extension of the natural sciences, and social science research emphasizes empirical methods that seek to explain causality of events.

  • Our mission is to develop dedicated and gifted students to become outstanding designers, planners and managers in the fields of cinema & theatre, fashion, graphic & media art, interior design, product design and landscape. We attain this by providing a strong context of professional education with emphasis on intellectual development and creative activity, based on liberal arts and sciences. We will support this by encouraging independent learning through studio based curricula and research-oriented thesis programs.
