Semmelweis University Hosts Major European Meeting on Medical Imaging and AI
Semmelweis University hosted the annual meeting of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR) in Budapest, bringing together specialists, researchers, young professionals and students from Hungary and abroad. The three-day scientific meeting focused on recent developments in head and neck imaging, including artificial intelligence, high-resolution imaging and photon-counting CT. More than 20 professional sessions addressed new methods, clinical applications and the relationship between advanced imaging and medical decision-making. The event also provided opportunities for scientific exchange and international research collaboration. Semmelweis University highlighted the importance of international and interdisciplinary cooperation in advancing medical education, research and innovation. The meeting demonstrates how universities can serve as international platforms connecting academic research with professional practice.
