ELTE Opens New Student-Centred Community Spaces
Eötvös Loránd University has expanded its student facilities with newly renovated community spaces at the University Library in Budapest. The project was developed partly in response to recommendations from the university’s International Student Advisory Committee and focuses on creating a more inclusive and student-centred environment. The renovated area includes relaxation facilities, flexible study rooms and spaces suitable for both individual and group work. One of the new rooms is also designed to host student events, classes and community programmes. The university says the new facilities will provide students with additional opportunities to study, meet others and take part in community activities. The official opening of the new spaces was scheduled for 17 September 2026
