BME Welcomes the First Students of the RESCO Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme
Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) has welcomed the first cohort of the RESCO Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Construction. The two-year programme carries 120 ECTS credits and is jointly delivered by four European universities. Students begin their studies at BME in Budapest before continuing at partner institutions in Spain, Portugal and France. The programme combines renewable-energy systems, sustainable construction and international academic mobility, preparing graduates for professional careers connected with sustainable development and the energy transition. BME recently hosted an in-person gathering for the new cohort and representatives of the partner universities, creating an opportunity for academic orientation and community building. The programme demonstrates how Erasmus Mundus combines specialised education with international mobility, multicultural learning and cooperation between European higher-education institutions.
